A Gift of Mystery: Learning to Lean into Paradox with Rabbi Lori Shaller with Batya Diamond
Most spiritual traditions share a belief in the ultimate totality or one-ness of
existence. Yet we humans live in a particularized existence most of the
time. Learning to lean into this paradox means holding onto the vision that
It Is All One even as we grapple with differentiation.
Rabbi and Spiritual Director Lori Shaller is a Spiritual Care Counselor
with Hospice and Palliative Care of Martha’s Vineyard, provides spiritual
direction to individuals and in groups, serves as guest Rabbi to Jewish and

into b’mitzvah, babies into community and souls into the next world.
Originally from NJ, she worked assiduously to rid herself of the accent.
She has earned awards for excellence in teaching and fancy diving, and
she is a fellow of Rabbis without Borders. Rabbi Lori has published
